    Al…….I went over to see what the length of the cutting edge was. With a single length, the rabbeting set would not have worked, however the winged cutter set would have with so many options. My slot cutter has one edge and 3 bearings, no combination worked for mt application. Funny how you purchase tooling, then stop looking. I knew there was a tooling solution, just didn’t know where.

  2. Hi, Neil. You are right – this is a *very* handy set to have in the shop. For the deepest rabbets I simply adjust the router table fence and make incremental cuts, until I reach the bearing depth. Pretty cool!

    Hey Al……..I have to tell you. This rabbeting set could be very handy. I was looking to do an operation with my slot cutter which has 3 different sized bearings but I still could not get the depth of cut I wanted. Of course its done now, but this bit set may have worked better.
