I am pleased to announce the January drawing / giveaway from Sommerfeld Tools.
This month we will give away the brand-new Feather Guard – it is so new, you will not find it in the catalog. One lucky winner in North America (sorry – cannot ship outside N. America at this time). Photos provided by Marc Sommerfeld:
This is a brand-new product, and not yet launched on the Sommerfeld Tools web site. However, it should appear next week, along with a DVD. It is a combination featherboard, and router bit guard!
The following information was provided to me by Marc Sommerfeld:
- The only featherboard that doubles as a 100% safe guard, when used correctly – no part of the bit is exposed to your hands.
- The guard portion completely covers the router bit.
- Can be used as a featherboard and a guard, at the same time.
- Knobs and hardware included, to attach to your router table or table saw.
- Can use two at the same time – one vertically and one horizontally.
- Make cuts accurately and safely at the same time.
- Great for large pieces of plywood.
- Works great on raised panel doors.
