Thanks for your compliment on the dovetails!  I am really glad you share your own experience with us regarding the drawer slips. Would you mind also sharing some photos of the work on the drawers, if you have some photos? I am currently making a Penn secretary and am have used some slips on three of the smaller drawers.  I also have them on some repair work where the sides were just in too bad shape not to use them.  For me, I think they are not just a nicety, but based on the numbers of drawers I have repaired through the years, they are almost a necessity. The added width for each side helps take some of the wear and tear off the sides rubbing on the drawer slides.  I will be using them in the future for sure.  Nice job on the dovetails also.  Keep up the good work.
