A fresh start on the blog.
I changed the blog Theme today, in celebration of resuming blogging about woodworking. This marks a fresh start of sorts.
And why not?
Being away from woodworking so long made me want to get back in the shop sooner, rather than later. Today we had a re-scheduled swim meet for our granddaughters, but that was cancelled due to the inability to travel by the opposing team. Instead I made lists of things I must do, not only in the shop, but also outdoors.
Sandy and I took advantage of the cooler weather today, and mowed the front lawn. Then it got hot; I decided to update the blog theme this afternoon. What do you think? Let me know. I hope the new theme will be a nice change for all my readers!

Thanks, John! I missed you, I missed the shop, I missed everything woodworking. How are things after the move? It’s been a while since we touched base.
All is well with us. My family loves having us closer and we like the access to everything. I am working on a kitchen island, A&C of course, but not breaking any speed records. We will be in KC next weekend for a wedding. I sure wish I could pick up some wood on my way back, but some other time.
I have been checking your blog off and an for months and wondered if you were ok. Good to see you back on line. Stay well.
