Home Blog Bob Lang’s new book will start shipping

August 7, 2012 By Al Navas

Bob Lang’s new book will start shipping

You want this book.

Bob Lang has a new book coming out soon. It is a compilation of three of his previous books. I had the unique opportunity to get an early version for review, and immediately reserved my signed copy of the book!

Breaking news and spoiler alert: If you reserved a copy, books should will start shipping in only a few days!

Reserve your signed copy NOW!

How? Place an order directly, from Bob.

My special recommendation: I recommend you order directly from Bob. It is our special way of supporting a fellow woodworker.

Especially if you have never read any of Lang’s previous books, you will quickly realize it is a treasure trove of drawings, joinery, and history.

From complete chapters dedicated to 1) The Story of Craftsman Furniture, to 2) Interpreting the Drawings, 3) Materials and Hardware, and 4) Woodworking Techniques, 5) Inlays, and 6) Hardware, it starts on page 58 with an astonishing amount of detailed Shop Drawings. The book has 328 pages, with many new drawings and information.

I have never made any of the pieces. But I can envision already making a story stick with the dimensions for just about any of the pieces in the book. That will be pretty cool.

Leave a Comment for a chance at a free copy!

Bob Lang will mail one signed copy to a randomly-selected reader of this entry who leaves a Comment in the section below. Deadline for Comments: Midnight of Wednesday, August 8, 2012 (tomorrow night).
